STEVIE TOMBSTONE is a singer/songwriter and Georgia native. His sound is a deceptively raw country blues tinged with gospel. His two Saustex releases "7:30 A.M." and "Devils Game" have received considerable airplay and critical praise around the globe. He currently resides back home in Atlanta and is working on material for a new album.
ERIC HISAW is a singer, songwriter and guitar slinger who hails from Las Cruces, NM. Eric's style is a literate and soulful brand of folk rock. Eric has five solo releases to date including two for Saustex, "The Crosses"  and "Nature of the Blues". Eric makes his home in Austin where he is recognized as one of the most uncompromising and hardest working musicians in town.
THE HICKOIDS are a storied bunch of cowpunks that originated in Austin, TX. Their music has morphed over the course of the past two and a half decades from its' hardcore punk meets hardcore country origins to a somewhat-less manic  Southern Garage style. Saustex reissued their first two discs as "Corn Demon" and they're currently working on a new album titled "Hairy Chafin' Ape Suit" for 2009 release.
LOCO GRINGOS were/are an equally storied bunch of dreadlocked hell-raisers from East Dallas,TX. Sonically speaking, the band has a grungy and lurching style dotted with reggae and latin underpinnings  that is wryly sexual and unmistakably Texan. Saustex reissued their one and only self-titled LP with bonus tracks in 2006.
T.TEX EDWARDS is a Dallas native whose body of recorded work now spans 3 decades with dozens of releases from around the world. Beginning with seminal Big-D punkers the Nervebreakers and continuing with a littany of other band and one-off projects too numerous to name, Tex has a knack for finding obscure and under-appreciated material and making it his own. Saustex has re-released two of his albums, "Pardon Me, I've Got Someone To Kill" and "Up Against The Floor".
SNOWBYRD is an unusual combo from San Antonio who combine the seemingly  incongruous genres of alt-country, prog-rock and psych-pop into a hard hitting and refreshing sound. Saustex issued their self-titled debut in 2006. Drummer Manny Castillo succumbed to cancer in January 2009. Saustex will release the band's final recordings with him alongside some live material and demos in Summer 2009. In accordance with Manny's wishes the surviving members continue to perform as Snowbyrd with Johnny Hernandez on drums. .
