W-w-w-water...other than the heat it's been a great summer. Got to do a short tour of the West Coast with the Hickoids...thanks to all the old friends we played with and who came out along the way. Driving out West is a great reminder of what a beautiful, large and varied country we live in, and also a good reminder of why I spend most of the summer indoors. Also, right after our return was fortunate to see and play shows with The BossHoss from Germany and former Hickoids trapsman Wade Driver's The Reaction. There's still more rock to come...

San Anto's Accordion Anarchists return to The Golden Bear.

Piñata Protest continues to kick ass and take names. The boys will be hitting the West Coast for the second time this year. If you missed them last time you owe it to yourself to see them this go around. Bass and guitar playing twins Marcus and Matt Cazares have added tracks to last year's Plethora album which will soon be reissued in a remixed and remastered edition and they'll be hitting the studio soon with producer Chris "Frenchie" Smith (Trail Of The Dead, Meat Puppets, Built To Spill, Jet,  Dandy Warhols) to record a new EP. Other stuff in the works includes a short tour of The Carolinas and some Texas dates with a major Mexican Death/Thrash Metal band. ¡Con juevos!
